Hello, I am Samantha Rodriguez and I have been working as a therapist since 2020. I focus on client-centered approaches and enjoy collaborating with clients. I have completed over 150 hours of Play Therapy training, am trained in EMDR, I specialize in grief processing and have experience working with families who have DHS involvement. I have provided services in several school districts with therapeutic services within the past four years and enjoy working with clients of all ages and their families. I have experience in pre-surgical psychosocial assessments for bariatric surgery and postoperative counseling. In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting, reading webcomics, playing Dungeons and Dragons, crafting, doing nail art, and spending time with my pets and family. Graduated with the Director’s Award from the University of Iowa, Graduate School of Social Work. I completed undergraduate schooling with Magna Cum Laude distinction from Iowa State University major in Psychology and minor in Sociology. ** Not currently accepting new office clients at this time **
